Trails and camps in Forests will many times have access to motorized and non-motorized trails
State Forest Pathways are open to horses unless otherwise posted closed, however not maintained or designed for equestrian use
Horse use on state-owned ORV and snowmobile trails is not prohibited <is permitted>
Back Country Horseback Riding is permitted on all State Forest roads and lands open to motor vehicles that are not posted closed to horse use or under directors orders
Back Country Horse Camping is permitted on all State Forest lands that are not posted closed to horse use or under directors orders. Campsites need to be at least one mile away from any designated campground.
Best practice is to make sure you know all the rules in the areas you will be riding and please only ride where allowed
